Spendless helps you track spending, build better budgets, and make smarter money decisions. This policy explains what we collect in the app, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

Account info. If you sign in with Apple, we may receive your name if you choose to share it and your email address to create and secure your account.

App activity. We may collect the budgets you create, spending categories, savings goals, app settings, and other information you enter in Spendless.

Subscription status. We may store whether you have an active subscription, your plan type, and renewal dates. Payments are handled by Apple and we do not receive your full card details.

Technical data. We may collect basic information such as app version, device type, crash logs, and server request logs including IP address for security, rate-limiting, and debugging.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide the core app features, sync your settings, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, and keep the service secure.

Who we share with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only with service providers that help us operate the app, such as Apple for sign-in and payments.

Data retention

We keep your account and app data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations.

Your rights and choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing contact@mathieubeststudio.fr. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and we work to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable precautions.

Children

Spendless is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the last updated date above and provide notice if the changes are significant.
